The interest in African markets by third parties is gradually growing at a noticeable rate. A number of countries have either requested for bilateral trade negotiations targeting specific African countries or FTA negotiations targeting regional economic communities. In this context, in May 2020 the United States of America published a summary of specific negotiation objectives in the context of its exploratory negotiations with the Republic of Kenya. In view of these negotiations, kindly share your views and discuss the following questions:

Over the period between 2 June and 10 June 2020 we will have three interactive discussion questions revolving around SPS and Trade.
