Course Justification and Objectives

The objective of this module is to enable students understand the theory and practice of negotiation, cooperation and international trade leadership.

The module is covered in the broad context for negotiations partly focusing on documents; methods and processes in trade diplomacy; negotiation skills; soft skills like interpersonal skills, communication skills and emotional intelligence; Communication and perception; Cross cultural factors; Negotiation behaviour; Leading a delegation; Interest groups and the public; Complex negotiations and  Regional integration Frameworks.
