TRAPCA and the World Trade Organisation (WTO) successfully convened a webinar that attracted over 100 participants from various parts of the globe. The objective of the webinar was to launch a book titled, ” Fostering Trade in Africa”. Moderated by trapca’s adjunct faculty member and former WTO Chief Economist, Prof. Patrick Low, contributors and editors of the book made interventions on the content of the book. They touched on timely and relevant non-exhaustive set of issues including: the cross-pollination of trade facilitation and SPS measures at implementation level and in the context of AfCFTA; implementation dimensions of WTO’s Agreement on Trade Facilitation in the context of African countries commitments;and e-commerce as well as unregistered trade in the African continent. The Coordinator of the Africa Group on WTO issues also provided critical contribution to the session.” The panelists were as follows: Dr. Gbadebo Odularu, Ms. Mena Hassan, Phd, Mr Tsotetsi Makong (trapca lecturer and researcher) and H.E.
