About Trade and Gender Course
The Trade and Gender course discusses the linkage between trade policy, gender, poverty alleviation and development. The course also discusses international trade from a gender and development perspective. This understanding is expected to increase the competencies of the course participants to identify trade policy and poverty alleviation priorities as well as mainstream gender into trade and poverty development policies. The course is also expected to help participants assess and monitor the mainstreaming of gender and its impacts on trade and poverty alleviation policies. Focus areas of the course include:
