With the support of the Government of Sweden, trapca business will start off with its core business, namely, building capacities of African LDCs and LICs and women from African LMICs. The Center will offer pre-requisite courses that are stepping stone to admission to its flagship MSc. in International Trade Policy and Trade Law. The Centre will subsequently also offer MSc. advanced courses. All the courses will be offered in English and French. Through financial support by the Government of Sweden, trapca has religiously carried out tracer surveys and numerous evaluations to evaluate impact of its trade and trade related capacity building interventions. These surveys and evaluations univocally attest to the fact that there is need for more courses. They further attest to the fact that through trapca’s alumni the interventional have exerted a great impact on countries. trapca’s Alumni have emerged great change agents for their countries with some representing their countries in trade negotiations as well as at the WTO.
