Another Winning Week at trapca!
We’re excited to have facilitated training for public officials on the AfCFTA Protocol on Intellectual Property Rights and Protocol on Investment. This week, we emphasised the crucial role of domesticating and aligning domestic regulations to effectively implement the AfCFTA agreement and its specific protocols.
We also held a workshop for MSMEs, women, and youth, equipping them with knowledge on leveraging digital trade and intellectual property frameworks to protect their businesses and expand their market reach. We also discussed the importance of advocating for enabling domestic regulations.
Thanks to our trade law expert, Thokozani Ngwira, and our esteemed alumni and global faculty member, Daniel Omoro Achach, for their invaluable contributions to this week’s training.
This program is made possible by the generous support of the European Union through a technical assistance facility (EU TAF) implemented by GIZ.
